Progress and research in aid of mental disordersFrom 02.12.2013 to 02.12.2013 Circolo della Stampa, Milano The lack of adequate information produces, still today, a severe fear and stigma surrounding mental health disorders which prevent the people in need to access the now available treatments thus making almost useless the significant scientific progress made in this field. 2014 will be the "Year of the Brain" and the University of Milan, together with the unconditional contribution of Roche SpA , under the patronage of the European Brain Council (EBC)has put forward the project "ConcretaMente" focusing on education and awareness of mental disorders as well as the latest achievements in neuroscience research. |
