During Expo 2015, public attention has been particularly sensitive to the topic of food. With this press conference the SIN, the Italian Society of Neurology, aims to focus public attention on the importance of nutrition in protecting our brains from the early onset of cognitive disorders and dementias. Until not long ago it was believed that the working of the mind depended solely on genetic endowment, but today we can say that environmental aspects like nutritional, physical and cognitive factors play a key role.
