A new approach to the treatment of osteoarthritis - EULAR 2013
A symposium sponsored by IBSA on the use of GAGs in OA treatmentIBSA continues its commitment against rheumatism through a main scientific activity, scheduled during the EULAR Congress, European League Against Rheumatism. A satellite symposium focused on GAGs ("GlycosAminoGlycans therapy") hosted by top experts in the field will highlight the main characteristics of the most relevant glycosaminoglycans (ie chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid), from the mechanisms of action to the recent clinical evidences of these compounds in the OA management. Many issues will be discussed in depth and focus made on latest findings for a modern approach to an old disease: glycosaminoglycans therapy in osteoarthritis. |
