
The structures dedicated to Pulmonary Hypertension at the University of Bologna and Paris have formalized the over twenty-year collaboration with specialists from the University of California and Michigan with the establishment of the World Symposia on Pulmonary Hypertension Association. The goal is to intensify scientific research and make the recent multiple advances in diagnosis and treatment of the condition available worldwide by sending patients as soon as possible to Centers of Excellence. Pulmonary hypertension affects 1% of the population, over half a million people in Italy and France.
