IEO, the Europen Oncology Institute in Milan, can now boat the first multidisciplinary centre for the management of melanoma and other skin cancers. At the Melanoma Cancer Center all the state of the art techniques and treatments will be available to counteract skin cancers. Confocal laser scanning microscopy, electrochemotherapy and liver chemoperfusion, are just some of the technologies available. Thanks to the multidisciplinary aspect of this project research will also be another importat activity.
