Research on headaches is experiencing a scientifically stimulating phase with important progress in understanding the pathophysiological aspects of the disease and significant developments in pharmacotherapy. This seminar focuses on current clinical research and the treatment of primary and secondary headaches. Other contributions are devoted to relevant topics such as the classification of chronic headaches, the diagnosis and treatment of migraine in adolescents, the relationship between migraine with aura and acute cerebrovascular conditions as well as headache in women.
