The European Oncology Institute - IEO, presents the new initiatives to counteract and treat cancers of the female reproductive system. Starting with a multidisciplinary Centre with an olistic approach to cervial cancer, through to traditional surgery coupled with new organ reconstructive techniques and state of the art minimally invasive robotic surgery. Antiagiogenic treatments in ovarian cancer and early detection are now also possible thanks to the new molecular medicine.
