After Covid-19, there has been a 25% increase in cardiovascular disease in the world. It is therefore necessary to rethink the various strategies to combat cardiovascular diseases (CVD) to make up for the delay caused by the emergency. The pandemic has, in fact, reduced routine checks and monitoring. Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide, currently 18 million people die each year worldwide and by 2030 the figure will rise to 24 million. In Italy there are 230 thousand people affected. Cardiovascular prevention therefore becomes fundamental, as reaffirmed in all international scientific events.
