The challenges of interventional cardiology: between innovation and complexity
The 35th edition of the congress explored the most relevant topics in interventional cardiology, from advanced PCI strategies for complex lesions and coronary bifurcations to the management of chronic total occlusions with new techniques and devices. Considerable attention was given to intracoronary imaging and the use of OCT and IVUS to optimize outcomes, as well as TAVI procedures in high-risk patients and solutions for calcific stenoses using intravascular lithotripsy.
