Technology and Clinical Practice: Ophthalmology in the Digital Age
Ophthalmology is reinventing itself in the digital age, where artificial intelligence, telemedicine, and augmented reality are redefining diagnosis and surgery. The joint conference organized by the Italian Association of Ophthalmologists (AIMO) and the Italian Society of Ophthalmological Sciences (SISO) discussed technological innovation as well as established clinical topics: from the new treatment paradigm for glaucoma to modern approaches to dry eye management. The challenge is to integrate progress and tradition, ensuring quality, safety, and patient-centeredness in an ever-evolving context.
