The Congress' scientific programme has been developed by a team consisting of members of the Committee of Scientific Advisors of IOF and the Scientific Advisory Board of ESCEO. The common aim is to gather new knowledge, skills and tools in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, two very disabling conditions in elderly people.The hope is to make step forwards in the understanding of bone metabolism aand pathology, to new strategies and options in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
