The Course is designed for physicians who wish to broaden their horizon in valve heart disease.  It will offer opportunity for practical clinical advice and for learning the key “tips and tricks” of the technique. Three main themes are pursued.  EDUCATION, a two day interactive programme, with the world’s experts in cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology, offers a general approach and evidence-based strategies to manage the surgical and interventional challenges in structural heart disease. TRAINING, a “hands on” training echo course encompassing the theoretical background and practical applications concentrating on echo image acquisition and interpretation. Simulation-based training session to provide a comprehensive learning opportunity that allows the clinician to safely learn, practice and repeat the procedures until proficiency is achieved. DEBATE, to give opportunity to appreciate different practical approaches and diverse opinions, encouraging interactive dialogues for lively discussions with the panel at any time throughout the live cases and after each lecture.
