The 8th edition of the Congress of European Federation of IASP - EFIC took place in Florence from the 9th to the 12th of October. The Congress brought together over 4000 pain specialists for a multidisciplinary forum that focused on the latest developments in the study and treatment of acute and chronic pain and recurrent pain. The scientific programme, presented by a leading international faculty, provided new insights into basic science, clinical research and therapeutic interventions.
