
The 11th European Menopause and Andropause Society Congress took place in Amsterdam from 22-24 May. The theme of the 2017 Congress was “Empowering a personalized approach towards healthy aging”. Without a good quality of life, longevity is not considered a benefit today. The main goal of the Congress was to enable strategies for healthy aging. This requires a holistic, multidisciplinary approach involving many specialists in different fields including gynecology, urology, cardiology, internal medicine, geriatrics, sexual medicine, occupational health and basic science.
